I mentioned previously that I would be providing you with exercises to help you build your self-esteem.

This week’s exercise comes from Marsha Linehan, acronym FAST which stands for the following:

F – Be Fair

A – No Apologies

S – Stick to Values

T – Be Truthful

F: Be fair to others and yourself. Your needs are just as important as the needs of others. With that said remember it's okay to say “no.”

A: It is okay to disagree with someone else. There is no need to apologize for having an opinion or disagreeing with others. You can disagree and still be respectful.

S: stick to your values and don’t compromise

T: being truthful and not making excuses.

Give it a try and see what you think.
