Autogenic training is another great skill to have, especially during this time of high stress and anxiety. It is a relaxation technique that helps turn off the stress response by saying self-statements that create a sense of calmness throughout your body, such as ”my hands are warm.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I especially recommend this technique if you have a difficult time quieting the mind. Like any other skill the more you practice the better you will get at it. I would suggest you practice at least 2-3 times a day. Click on the link below to try this exercise.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
